Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, I grew up on Motown and Jimi Hendrix. I picked up the guitar at 11 and never really put it down. I fell in love with blues guitar and spent my teenage years listening to Robert Johnson and trying to play along to Stevie Ray Vaughan. At 13 I started playing covers at local bars and busking and by 15 I was writing my own songs. I was lucky enough to be featured on KTLA5 and endorsed by Martin Guitars at 16. I continued to write and perform, ultimately becoming a session guitarist and touring musician for several local LA groups. My writing has been featured in Slate magazine and has accumulated over 450k streams on Spotify. In 2021 I scored my first film for Sundance and began producing several artists and rappers. I moved to Chicago in 2022 and have continued to advance my career, becoming a Sofar Sounds performer and releasing my debut indie record Piñata.
